FP7 project
BalticGrid-II (1 May 2008 – 30 April 2010) has continued development of the Grid infrastructure and applications in the Baltic countries and Belarus. BalticGrid has provided Latvian scientists with access to large computing capacities and almost unlimited data storage that allowed increasing productivity of their work. Largest Grid users in Latvia are
RTU,
LU MII and
CFI researchers. Latvian Grid experts continue supporting and developing the necessary resources for future Grid usage as well as participate in the development of European Grid infrastructure.
