Grid in Latvia

The Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Latvia (IMCS) has initiated the consolidation of academic Grid resources into the National grid network of Latvia. IMCS currently has two operational Grid clusters of 12 and 20 CPUs. These clusters are accredited in the EGEE.

IMCS together with Riga Technical University are partners in the Baltic Grid-II project.

IMCS has received funding from the structural funds to develop grid technologies,project "Grid computing environment: theory, methods, applications" was succesfuly carried out. More information is available in Latvian only.
